Professors: Hughes' Making of Style Icons


-I was always put off by James Spader wearing that white suit to school. Did people, even rich douchers, do that? Didn't he realize he already looked like 28 and should therefore try to dress younger not older? As someone who grew up mostly in the 90s, watching Molly Ringwald and John Cryer in John Hughes' classics was one of the primary ways I learned what not to wear. Over at The Moment they've got a slideshow of some iconic brat pack style, though the collection of photos is much less extensive than it ought to be.
