-Does two examples constitute a trend? I don't know, but that's enough for me to comment before things get out of hand. Jumpsuits, for men that are not working mechanics, seems to be a burgeoning trend in menswear. I'm not entirely dismissing the idea, in fact, I think it's kind of a cool idea if the mechanics of movement and fit can be worked out. I just think the examples above, on the left from Alexander McQueen on Gilt (which looks like two pieces but is actually one,) and on the right, from Thom Browne F/W 09, need a little refinement before their ready for the streets. Share you thoughts, and we'll keep our eyes out for more on the trend.

Design Major: Alexander McQueen FW/09

-I've never been a huge fan of McQueen, not even Steve (I recently got around to watching the even-worse-than-the-remake orignal Thomas Crown Affair,) and this collection didn't sway my opinion to much. However, these two looks appealed to me. The layering and chunky knits hinted at a stylistic aesthetic phrase that I sometimes use to refer to my own style, hobo-chic. I am also really loving the slim-fitting wool cargo pant. This McQueen collab looks like it may be pretty cool too.
