-Does two examples constitute a trend? I don't know, but that's enough for me to comment before things get out of hand. Jumpsuits, for men that are not working mechanics, seems to be a burgeoning trend in menswear. I'm not entirely dismissing the idea, in fact, I think it's kind of a cool idea if the mechanics of movement and fit can be worked out. I just think the examples above, on the left from Alexander McQueen on Gilt (which looks like two pieces but is actually one,) and on the right, from Thom Browne F/W 09, need a little refinement before their ready for the streets.
