-Taking a train ride today so I'm just dropping a little post. I recently bought a vintage L.L. Bean parka on eBay, but I spotted Newman's Postal Service parka in an episode the other day and now I'm thinking of trying to find one on eBay.

School Supplies: Vintage L.L. Bean Parka eBay Snag
-I was pretty much mentally prepared to drop some real money on a parka next quarter, but on a whim I searched eBay for some vintage pieces. I grabbed this 80s gem tonight for $15. This will be the first time I've owned a hooded coat since I've been living in one of the country's rainiest non-vampire inhabited areas. I'm happy. More real posting to come late tonight. more

Back to School Shopping: 1969 Denim Jacket
-Just a quick pitch about my very seldom-worn Gap 1969 denim jacket which is now up for grabs on our eBay page. When I bought this jacket they were out of smalls so I grabbed a medium and as a result, I was never really able to craft an outfit around it. I've decided to opt for a slimmer Levi's denim jacket and pass this one on to someone who will love it properly.

Dress Code: Double-Breasted Cardigan
-Speaking of hipsters, I was at American Apparel with messdemeanor this week and I saw this double breasted cardigan ($40.) I noted the DB cardi in my Paul Smith review last month. I think there are a lot of interesting possibilities I could create with the DB cardi, though I think the width it creates might make a tie look awkward. Anyway, I'm going to buy one.-And if you're checking out a.a., you should check out their vintage line, California Select, which a great example of a company actually employing an innovative strategy.
