-My girl Leanne from Portland was announced as the winner of Project Runway season 5 last night. Next time I go down to Portland I'm going to find that square ass boyfriend they showed, beat him up, and make her my down ass babygirl.
-But in all seriousness, one of the major aims of this blog is to showcase the Northwest as a creative and artistic force and to combat East Coast centrism in style. Leanne's win only helps to further that goal. We hope her the best in her next endeavors. But really, she's bomb. more

-You'd probably expect any Project Runway related post from us to be about how there are two competitors this season from the Pacific Northwest. Blayne, the unbearable Christian Siriano wannabe who says he's from Seattle but is really from Yakima (fucking Yakima, dude). And my girl Leanne from Portland are both representing the upper left admirably on PR. But the real reason I'm posting is to talk about Joe (right), who seems a pretty odd choice by the producers amongst a cast filled with young hipster designers, and the amount of camera time he gets seems to be pretty proportional to the amount of personality he exudes. But the really interesting thing about Joe is that he looks exactly like fucking Julian (left) from Trailer Park Boys. If you don't know, TPB is a television show that ran from 2001 to 2007 on the Canadian television network SHOWCASE. It is the funniest tv show ever. But since it's over and you wouldn't want to illegally download every season and watch it all, just watch runway and laugh at Joe. more
