Faculty: The Lonely Island

-Sure, Hot Rod sucked, but don't doubt that The Lonely Island has done some quality work over the years. When the Bay Area comedy trio joined the cast and crew of Saturday Night Live a few years ago, "Lazy Sunday" temporarily rejuvenated a show with very little hope left. Of course, it wasn't their first foray into hip-hop, as TLI's earlier hit "Just 2 Guyz" could add yet another element to our ongoing "Best Rap Duo" debate. However, their recent "Ras Trent" video (above) hit even closer to home by examining the Trustafarians that have had a ubiquitous presence on college campuses for nearly half a century. All of these tracks can be heard/seen on The Lonely Island's debut CD/DVD, "Incredibad", which is set to be released on February 10th.
